GitHub

We use GitHub both for authentication (sign up & sign in) and to sync data between GitHub and Summon. GitHub will ask for permissions so Summon can get started populating your integrated workspace.
When you first sign up, it may take several minutes to initially sync your data. Data will show up as you add Blocks to your Pages (eg your merge requests, repositories). With the GitHub integration you can also take actions on your data and do things like review merge requests, create merge requests, merge merge requests etc.

Webhooks

Enabling GitHub webhooks will greatly enhance your Summon experience as we can deliver near real-time data and notifications (eg notify you when someone submits a review on your merge requests or someone requests a review).
To enable webhooks follow the prompts in one of the Assistant messages that originate from GitHub:
Prompt in top right corner of Summon Assistant messages to enable GitHub webhooks.
